Retroglyph

Retroglyph was created out of a desire to explore the complex results of simple, accumulating geometric manipulations. In this case, letters taken from my Determinant typeface were revolved random distances around all three axes to create fluid, semi-symmetrical volumes that express entirely new, subjective meaning. By increasing the distance between each iteration, the resulting "surface" is broken and jagged, contrasting the smooth direction of the rotational movement with aggressive diagonals.

Finally, to give the series a more tactile feel, I dressed up the results with scattered pieces of electronics, stripes and color combinations.
